O-arm^® System Positioning Controls & Workflow

The O-arm^® System optimally supports the surgical workflow and creates a controlled surgical environment through the following automated positioning controls and user-friendly features:

• Robotic Controls for Easy Beam Positioning - All motions of the O-arm® System gantry and source-detector unit are motor controlled. This feature gives surgeons full mobility for easy positioning and lateral patient access when they need it.

• Multiple Draping Options for Uncompromised Sterility - Multiple draping options exist, including several custom drapes for easy and fast draping. The closed gantry is designed to stay sterile during the whole procedure, eliminating parts moving in and out of the sterile field.

• Simple, Intuitive Control Panel for Ease-of-Use - The central control panel allows the operator to control all motions and X-ray settings at the touch of a button. An identical second control panel can be draped and used within the sterile field to give the surgeon full access.

• Smart Position Memory to Remember Your Preferred 2D Views - The programmable memory stores the preferred position of gantry and detector as well as any X-ray technique, in up to four imaging positions. This allows the surgeon to recall the preferred image position at the touch of a button any time during surgery.
